The Foretia Foundation generally does not make grants to outside organizations; rather, we direct our financial resources to the implementation of our own initiatives and programs on the ground.

What kind of work does the Foundation do?

The Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation was established to catalyze Africa’s economic transformation by focusing on social entrepreneurship, science and technology, innovation, public health and progressive policies to create economic opportunities for all. The foundation works in partnership with local governments, policy makers, private enterprises, civil society organizations as well as development partners to expand the resources available to entrepreneurs, farmers, and small business owners in addition to improving individual livelihoods. 

Are there internships at the Foretia Foundation?

There is an expanding internship program at the Foundation. The internship program follows the semester system at Cameroonian universities. The Fall semester runs from October to February while the Spring semester runs from April to July. The summer internship runs from July to September. Interns are expected to spend at least 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer session, interns are expected to spend at least 35 hours a week at the foundation.
